ShippersEdge was founded in 2002 and was the first hosted SaaS TMS on the market. ShippersEdge is a tier-2 or mid-tier TMS offering 100% of the functionality for 90% of all shippers. ShippersEdge takes great pride in offering an affordable and highly capable TMS to the small to midsized business market.
Located in the south suburbs of Minneapolis, ShippersEdge employs an all-American workforce. ShippersEdge does offer enhanced services such as reverse logistics, managed drop shipping and managed logistics. ShippersEdge staff averages over 15 years experience in transportation and logistics disciplines.

Our History
With roots dating back to 1950 as freight bill auditors, SRC (the parent company of ShippersEdge) was formed in 1998 to provide logistics consulting to manufacturers & distributors. Clients range from Fortune 100 to those with less than 10 employees.
Our founder noticed early on that small & mid-size companies were at a big disadvantage over their larger competitors in terms of logistics technology. It was either too expensive or too difficult to use. That is what motivated him to develop ShippersEdge TMS.
The first version released in 2002 and was one of the very first Web-based TMS systems available. Over the years multiple versions have been developed. Today a full range of services are offered.

Our professional edition is a slimmed down version of our award-winning transportation management system. It offers highly affordable shipping software that has the functionality not often found in this level of software.
